Sky Italy

Working with the Australian Architect Byron Harford, this project consisted of 6 playout and editing studios for Sky Iatlia in Milan. Fitouts for the 2-3 storey studios spaces required noise and vibration isolation from the base building. The design incorporates floating super flat concrete floor slabs atop resilient high density polymer bearings supporting the steel internal wall and ceiling skeleton. The separate skeleton nests around the internal framing to maximise studio space and minimise overall thickness without compromising performance. This project was completed in 2007.
